Students , how do you prevent sleep when you are trying to study for an exam?
I have final exams in a few days, but everytime I sit down to study after about 30 minutes I feel sleepy. And whenI decide to sleep ,I sleep for over two hours!!!
Any ideas to keep me awake?

Get up and stretch. Try studying in different places. And truly, if you don’t already have a good idea about the material, cramming it in now isn’t going to help a whole lot. 30 minutes is great studying time. When you study for too long of periods, the information tends to become mixed and confused. Study for 30 minutes, then go for a walk or take a snack break, call a friend. After a 15 or 20 minute break, you can try to study for another 30 – 45 minutes.
Get up every 15 min. or so and just walk around or move.

drink a bunch of enrgy drinks and keep moving. Have some enthusiasm about finals and think the year is almost done.
pro plus and coffee, works every time, but dont over do it on the pro plus otherwise you wont even be able to sit down to study! but some advice, maybe you should be revisin now instead of posting questions! and also it is important to sleep, go to bed at a reasonable time and get up early, the brain works better in the mornin! good luck. love b xx
LOTS OF BLACK COFFE.
Have rock music playing in background, chew on something like sunflower seeds to keep yourself "preocupied". Have a caffeinated beverage. Give yourself some fresh air every half an hour (go outside or sit near open window) study with a friend who will talk to you…. good luck with your exams.
tape a rubber duck to your neck and if you fall a sleep its ok the duck will quack.
Take a vitamin tablet or drink like centrum or berocca in the morning. Too much coffee makes you tired. Try to avaiod it (not to mention it stains your teeth). Drink plenty of water while studying so your brain is always hydrated and can then funtion properly. If you are really tired though, sleep in an awkward position for example sit on a chair and sleep. After about half an hour, your sleep will go away and you will be wide awake for a long time :)
DRINK 1 RED BULL AND YOU WILL BE AWAKE ALL NIGHT.
BECAREFUL YOU MAY START TO FLY.
Relax have a nap study when u feel like and go play ur favorate sport, game passtime whatever just chill
Drink and drink and drink lots of water. That way you are forced to pee. It will keep you awake. Afraid you will oversleep your early morning finals? Use your body as an alarmclock. For every hour your going to sleep, drink one 12 oz glass of water. I assure you, you will get up.

stop waiting until the last minute to learn the material…
