Sleep Apnea: My father is staying over and forgot his nosepiece. Any good temporary solutions?
He uses a CPAP and forgot to pack the nasal pillow.
He's propped up on 3 pillows and sleeping sitting up, but I want to find something for him.

Call a DME company and buy one. There are no good answers. It is good to have a back up mask/nose piece for just this occassion and when it breaks. I always have an extra. For future reference, You can buy them online rather cheap as compare to your home care. Most insurance however will replace a mask evey 3-6 months.
I feel asleep on the plane with out mine for less than an hour.. I had a headace for a week and other sleepapnea symptoms for days.
Might I suggest a pillow? That might not be temporary though …
Sitting upright is probably the best thing that he can do for now. Try contacting a local home care provider to see if they can offer a replacement nasal pillow, and then he will have a spare. These can be pricey, however, so depending on how long he is staying, he may just want to go ahead and tough it out like he has been doing.
Have him try laying on his side.
