sleep apnea?
Is it possible for a person with sleep apnea to not snore every night? To actually sleep well some nights?
It is my 2 year old. HE has an appointment tomorrow with his pedi for it. I had known he sometimes woke from it but when I was up all night with our youngest for several nights over the weekend I saw just how OFTEN it was happening. Last night he slept really reall though.

My husband has it and does not snore every night. It’s worse for him after he’s been in the yard all day due to allergies. I have to make him take some benadryl or something before bed to help. He also has it worse after drinking alcohol, but that’s not a problem your child will have. My nephew, now 17, has had sleep apnea his entire life, though my brother and former sister-in-law have never had him medically diagnosed or treated for it. He has horrific allergies and is constantly congested when he’s awake. Probably he also needs his adenoids taken out, but my thoughts on the problem have been dismissed. He also has ADD and some learning disabilities, which I’ve read in several places can be related to sleep problems with children. It’s good you’re getting your child checked out early. Sleep is so critical to every aspect of growth and behavior! Good luck!
you could try not eating, rice, noodles and potatoes and taking a megavitamin everyday to replace what vitamins the food you eat doesnt get you.
my husband thinks he may have some kind of sllep apnea, although he has not been diagnosed with it, but some days he is soo tired even tho he had a good sleep, with no snooring , then again some days he is nt tired at all even tho he has been snooring and talking in his sleep , they say to sleep on your side , he has tried this and it helps a bit , it seems a bit hit and miss with him if the snooring makes a difference or not
Usually not. When he sees a doctor, ask about a C-pap mask. Also, try using a humidifier and other home remedies.
It’s really hard to sleep with someone who has "sleep apnea". To read more about this case, visit this link http://vitzy.net/forum/Sleep-Apnea-t2091.html
