Interesting article about sleep apnea?
Just trying to make a point so please don’t report this question.
People are always wondering why they can’t get to sleep and true exercise may help but here is a very interesting site about sleep apnea:
http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/dci/Diseases/SleepApnea/SleepApnea_WhatIs.html
On the left panel to the article there are also signs and symptoms as well as treatment etc.
ah but maz you aren’t really fully rested if you can’t sleep correctly one would think..and it could perhaps under certain stresses cause sleeping problems.
plus the night relieving of the bladder doesn’t sound to well rested.
well if you had read it can affect any one even if you aren’t overweight..

Thanks I may need this article one day and why would anyone report you?
Thank you for your post. I believe my beloved hubby needs to be checked out for this and will get him in to his doctor immediately as he also has heart conditions.
the people I know with sleep apnea do not have a problem getting to sleep it is quite the opposite they have problems staying awake as they have disturbed sleep at night which leaves them tired in the day, one symptom is falling asleep frequently like when watching TV when you are talking to them, at the cinema and in some cases when they are in a queue when driving.
EDIT: They do sleep but constantly wake up not fully though they are not aware of this themselves they snore in my experience very loudly, it is easy to detect the sleep clinic give you a small machine and you wear a monitor on your finger whilst you sleep, they then give you a CPAP machine which again monitors your breathing whilst you sleep then if you have the condition you wear a mask blowing air into your face and thus keeps your windpipe open whilst you sleep this is also a CPAP machine which is set at the right level for you then you are meant to get a more restful sleep which should result in less daytime sleepiness
Thank you for posting this.
It is quite comprehension.
I suffered from SA for quite a while. I had all the symptoms.
At the time I suffered the most, I was obese level II (over 40 BMI…yes, they have levels). I lost thirty pounds to get to obese level I (36 BMI)…and a couple of the severe symptoms stopped. I rarely get tired at work, have memory problems, or high blood pressure.
Of course, I won’t stop there. I will get my BMI down to normal.
Good luck people.
