that is not too high if that is what your sleep study deemed was an appropriate pressure for you. i will, admit that it is a pretty high pressure, but not unusual.
CPAP is set with the EPAP. EPAP being the constant flow of air, and IPAP only comes in to play when needing delivered breaths with BiPap.
i believe 17 is for the inspiratory pressure. (IPAP) but i think that’s a little too high. usually the expiratory pressure (EPAP) is the lower number. it’s like PEEP for obstructive sleep apnea. is that what the doctor ordered?
