I have sleep apnea and ADD and depresion. What drug on the market can I take for energy and alertness.?
Otherwise a fit individual, I have sleep apnea, I am not over weight as many are with this problem. I also have ADD and diabetes..does anyone know if there is a drug that can be taken to relieve at least some of the chronic fatigue caused by there problems. I have heard vitamin B12 shots helps some people. Is the re a B12 injection that you can administer to yourself at home daily as prescribed by a doctor? Diet? Vitamins? any help from thos of you that have chronic fatique regardless of the reason would be appreciated…

Everyone i know that has sleep apnea are wiped out the next day because you arent sleeping well, weather you realize that during the night or not. They also ended up with a breathing mask that is worn at night. They arent the best looking things but they will give you a good night sleep and you will feel more refreshed. I dont know if you are on any diabetic drugs. If your blood sugars are high that will also make you feel sluggish. Being diabetic really sucks. I messes with every part of your body. You need to take your meds as needed and try to go on a meal plan, (I hate the word DIET) that consists of lean meats, veggies and fruits such as berries. Try to limit your rice, pastas and potatoes. If you dont want a prescribed ADHD med such as Aderall, try going on the website "Natures Remedies". They have an herb called "Focus" that will help you with concentration. As far as depression goes, I have tried a lot of stuff and they all made me sleepy. About a year ago I was put on Cymbalta. The med saved my life. It not only treated my depression but it also treated the physical symptome of depression and it didnt make me sleepy. I hope i was helpful. In my immediate family I deal with ADHD, diabetes, sleep apnea and depression. I am only giving you suggestions that have worked for us. I hope I have been at least a little bit helpful. In the end you have to find what works for you. Nobody should have to go thru life depressed. Life is hard enought to get thru. Good luck on whatever you find to work.
If you have sleep apnea, you need to try using the CPAP machine at night. I have sleep apnea. Don’t take Adderall though. My husband has ADD and it was horrible, not to mention the fact that it can cause heart problems which you are already susceptable to with the sleep apnea and diabetes. Try going to see a neurologist for you sleep apnea. Usually the machines will make you feel a lot better. Good Luck!
I have ADHD, but the meds are the same. for alertness and concentration try adderall. It helps people of all ages. Don’t be dicouraged to find out you may need to take a combination of meds. Do whatever you need to do to help yourself feel better.
