when you have trouble breathing during sleep, your O2 drops, your’s must have been pretty low!! make sure your mask is tight so it seals, the air HAS to go down your throat, it’s not supposed to be comfortable, it’s a medical device LOL ————- overweight really doesn’t affect it much, it’s the blockage in your throat/ airway
The oxygen will help you breath better. I know someone who uses a cpap machine, and they said it took a while to work, but that it works really good now, and helps them a lot.
My father has a cpap machine and it took him about a week before any changes were made. The reason that I could see you needing oxygen hooked up to your machine is that your oxygen levels go down too low when you have those periods of not breathing, therefor it’s just a safety backup. If you are still experiencing problems with your machine, contact your doctor about it and they will help you!
Yes, they help you. Once your body adjusts to it you won’t be able to sleep without it. My father finds if he doesn’t use it he gets really bad headaches and feels SO tired throughout the day. So stick in there, it will get better!!
Pray to God. He can help you. Besisdes, aren’t you on medicine? If you got your machine then, you won’t see the difference yet. It’ll help also if you lost some pounds.
