I have a sleep disorder, I cannot fall asleep until dawn. Is there anyone else out there like me?
I know its a sleep disorder, i forgot what its called. My doctor wanted me to go to some sleep clinic. I would just stay awake the entire time. I just want to know if anyone elese has this trouble and how to correct it.

it's called delayed sleep phase disorder and it's a disorder of your circadian rhythm. They usually use light therapy to trick your brain into thinking it's a different time of day as well as sedatives until you can get your body back on track – however, it could be a stingy thing and you might have this schedule disorder for the rest of your life. My suggestion – get a night job.

insomnia. i dont have it but once i get out of my normal sleeping routine for whatever reason its hard for me to get back into it.. (like now) haha but i usually fix it by staying up all night and all the next day so im good and tired by the next night.. works for me!

Hi I have the same problem do you drink alot of coffee,tea,or anything with caffeine? Caffeine works really well for keeping me up even when I don't want to lol
yeah alot of people go to sleep at dawn . . . you just have to get your body in the habit of going to sleep at a earlier time
well i go though the same thing! Some times for me to fix my sleep again umm i take a sleeping pill and then another the next day and then i sleep myself to sleep the day after that cuz i got used to it! the problem is when i stay up again i can't sleep lol
I usually just try to stay up all night and all day (with help of intermittent doses of caffeine, of course), and then go to bed between 7 and 9pm if I want to get back on a day schedule…but nighttime is too much fun.
I wouldn't call it a disorder I call it being a night owl, I am one too. Most usually I go to sleep in the morning around 6am I don't call that a disorder I like it that way! lol
yup, i have that too! I've tried so many times to correct it but to no avail yet. My advice: make yourself get up every morning and stay awake all day without naps. I did this for a week but i had to force myself out of bed every morning, it's just much more natural to me to sleep late and stay up late. But if you want to correct it that's the way. You probably won't wake up "naturally" in the morning though, at least for a long time.
