Has anyone ever participated in a sleep study research program?
I have been asked to participate in a 24 day sleep study, I will be in a room with no windows or concept of time and can’t use the phone or have visitors. They will give me set times for sleeping and waking and will have me perform tasks on a computer. I am really interested in doing this because I’m very interested in contributed to science, and the pay isn’t too bad either. Has anyone ever done a study like this one? How did you feel throughout the entire study, and what can I expect? Thanks!

Hi, my mom did one of them a few years ago. She said it can be exhausting having to stay up at certain hours, because in some of them you have to stay up late like around 3AM on some days. She said it also gets extremely boring so you’ll need things to keep you occupied. She did a sleep study on twins (she’s a twin). So basically it’s exhausting and boring. Haha. I hope I helped in some way even though I don’t have much info. If I find more I’ll let you know. (:
