Does my English Bulldog have sleep apnea?
My bulldog snores when he sleeps just like all other bullies so i can obviously hear him breathing. Once in awhile the snoring will stop and he starts to twitch and looks like he’s running in his sleep. this sometimes goes on for about 20-30 seconds. i can tell he’s not breathing because i can’t here it. so i give him a little nudge and he gets a little startled, pops out of it, and starts breathing again. Anything wrong with my lil man?

Not necessarily "wrong" – most bulldogs have a minor form of sleep apnea (like most overweight humans do). If you have not done so already, take your boy to a vet specializing in (or at least VERY familiar with) brachycephalic breeds and have them check for an elongated palate or crimped snares (extremely narrow nostrils), which would make breathing harder for him – and would be more noticable during heavy sleeping.
P.S. Don’t trust a vet’s word on their experience/expertise, get references from your breeder or bulldog rescue, or your local bulldog club. Other people that can give references: French Bulldog, Pug, or Pekingese breeders, clubs or rescues.
He’s just having a dream! Probably chasing cats or squirrels.
HAHA…nothing wrong the little man, my "booger" did the exact same thing! I freaked out (still do at times) and wake him up by making little "psssst" noise…but, the Vet told me that is just common with bull dogs.
