do i qualify for ssi do to having sever sleep apnea and sever anxiety attacks?

I have lost a great deal of weight and no longer have sleep apnea issues. I can sleep without the CPAP machine, but sometimes just like to put it on anyway. I guess I am just used to it as a habit or comfort thing. How do I wean myself off of it and start going to sleep without it?

my boyfriend scraches his thighs in his sleep is this a sleeping disorder
like it gets so bad that he dig and he has scars all over and he dont even know hes doing it

My boyfriend has sleep apnea so sometimes he has to sleep with a machine, sometimes he doesnt wear it and he has these horrible night tremors. He has nightmares about hurting me sometimes or me hurting him, us fighting,me cheating on him.It doesnt happen frequently but he’ll have 3 in one night when he does. Theres nothing like that going on we’re very very happy together outside his dream world.

The other night he was having one and he actually woke up and hit me. He didnt hit me very hard but he definitly went to punch me, I never really took it too seriously until now.

I’m not sure what to do about this and I hope someone can give me some answers on what to do to maybe help this situation?

This only happens at night when I am about to fall asleep. It’s between
that period where you are half asleep, yet still awake. It doesn’t happen during the day or if I take a nap on rare occasions. It feels like my heart is coming out of my throat or something. It is so weird and kinda hard to explain. It seriously sits me up out of bed making me freak out b/c it’s scary, it seriously makes me feel like I’m about to die. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like it’s my heart jumping out of my throat, but rather a big lump in my throat or something. I don’t know, it’s just weird to explain. I use to happen to me years ago maybe just a few times a month and then went away for years, but this past year, it seems like it happens every single night. I know I need to go to the doctor, but I was hoping until then someone may know something. The only thing I could think of is sleep apnea, but none of the symptoms fit me when I checked webmd. I was diagnosed with a heart murmer a few years back, but I don’t think that has anything to do with it.
I don’t think I have anxiety. I told a friend about this and that’s what he said. I just don’t understand what I would be anxious about when I’m lying in bed just chilled and relaxed and watching TV.

I am having weight loss surgery November 27. I have Obstructive Sleep Apnea (I sleep with a BiPap machine already) and it’s getting worse and I am not losing weight fast enough for the Dr’s and really need to have it. they said this will alleviate the problem and of course I will be thin again. So do any of you have any advice or stories about your WLS that you’d like to share with me? or possible recipes that you used.
Thanks in advance!

Would it be like neurologist, psychiatrist, or psychologist? Or something else…

One doctor told someone I know that if the neck is over 17 inches then you have sleep apnea.

Last year May I was diag. with bacterial vaginosis and treated with a dose of 3 pills at one time. (I also had an abnormal pap & colposcopy which came out negative.) I did not feel right and went back recently. I was diag. with vaginosis again and was given Flagyl for 7 days. I saw my regular MD for the past month for other symptoms, after a urine test said I had a UTI and gave me a dose of Cipro (3 pills/3 days.) I have finished this dosing and still 2 weeks later know that I am not right. I am going to go back t the Gyn again for a 4th treatment. Before the summer I have never had anything like this not even a yeast infection.

I have been going to my MD for other symptoms such has palpitations, high blood pressure (145/100), dizzy spells, nausea spells, fatigue, headaches, ear infections, flushing, periods of low body temp (94 deg) and low pulse, night sweats, sleep apnea and brown spots on my back. Now Im just nervous that the bacterial vaginosis could be a sign something else??

Roeder…called the conditions of his incarceration "deplorable." His cell was so cold, he said, that he "started having a bad cough. I thought I was going to have pneumonia." Roeder also said he’d been denied phone privileges and needed his sleep apnea machine.

I have been noticing that I am tired every day, no matter how long I sleep. I’ll sleep for 12 hours, but I’ll still feel fatigued during the day. In the morning my nose will be a little stuffy, and my lungs will hurt. The lungs hurting goes away after I’ve been up for a few hours, and the nose gets better and/or unnoticeable as well. I don’t smoke regularly (I’ll smoke once every couple weeks or so at the pub,). What’s going on with me? It’s been going on for a while, I just didn’t really notice it because it was so gradually, and the symptoms aren’t hugely life-interference. Is this allergies? Sleep apnea? Lung cancer? What’s going on!!
The pain is mild, and only in the morning; more of an ache, really. Sometimes a bit of a cough accompanies it, and it is with a stuffy nose and scratchy eyes. Obviously I need to have a doctor check, but that answer isn’t very helpful.
Again, I’m American: we don’t get to just "go to the doctor" unless we want to be "going to the bank" for a very long time. I’m wondering if anyone has an educated diagnosis based on my symptoms alone. Obviously a trip to the doctor would be important, but if that was something I could easily do, I would have.

I have sleep disorder problem. Can anyone suggest me a good medicine for this problem? Which is good to take?

Sleep apnea is not a psycholigical disease its a repiratory disease. It can cause insulin resistance without obesity.

I want to know what the different types of Snoreguards are. My dentist tells me there are more than one type. Snoreguards are an alternative to the use of CPAP machines in the care of Sleep Apnea.

I’ve tried to get shifted back gradually a bit everyday but I tend to want to sleep the first half of the day and then function normally until around 3 or 4 in the a.m. I don’t know if I should see a sleep disorder physician or not.

It is ,799 + 0 shipping, but where can I find it cheaper?

*THIS HAS NOT BEEN FULLY DIAGNOSED (I took a test online, it says i might have sleep apnea. I’m still gonna get it checked out by the doctor*

So, I think I might have sleep apnea. But, I also KNOW I have Insomnia. I know the two are related, but its not the usual. my problem isn’t that I wake up frequently during the night, my problems that I can’t frickin get to sleep till anywhere between 1-4 in the morning. This has been going on for the past year or so)
I definitely have experienced some of the symptoms of sleep apnea. Such as

# Waking up unrefreshed and having trouble staying awake during the day
# Waking up with headaches
# Waking up sweating
# Frequent trips to the bathroom during the night

I also seem to forget to breath sometimes when I’m awake.

But I don’t wake up frequently, and I definitely have Insomnia. Are the two related? Is it possible to have both?

PLEASE NO RUDE, INAPPROPRIATE REMARKS

and she is snoring. About a year ago when this started, I asked my wife to wear ear-plugs, as she complained about my constant snoring keeping her up. I decided enough is enough, after not sleeping together for over a year and our sex life suffering, I went in for a sleep test and I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Now I use one of those CPAP masks. Its hard to get used to and I still have some nights where it bothers me.

Problem is since she has gained weight, after having two babies, now she snores and its loud. I wake her up and she gets soo frustruated. I think its very unfair. I’ve asked her to get it under control and she ignores me.

I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine, but i am still not sleeping well and i’m pretty sure it’s due to the fact that at least one of my nasal passages is blocked during sleep. I been prescribed Nasonex to help but it doesn’t seem to be doing much. Can anyone suggest anything else that might help keep my nasal passages clear?

i get up 10-20 times a knight, to go online, bake, or walk the dog. This has been happening for a year. Do you think there could be a problem?

If so, do you know where i can order lots and lots of Ambien online?

he has done every test he can think of and has no idea whats wrong with me but I definately am sure that i am exhausted all the time and remember that it distinctly began hapening 5 months ago. He is thinking of booking me for a sleep clinic just to be sure I dont have sleep apnea even though I dont really have any symptoms.
